Guns are firearms that players are able to use to attack or defend themselves against other players. Civilians and law enforcement officers are able to own these items, the two do not share any guns. Additionally, despite only being able to carry one firearm in your inventory at a time, you can store as many as you want in your trunk.
Damage
The default damage value is that of a torso shot, damage multipliers and dropoff are both calculated using it.
Damage Multipliers
The amount of damage you deal varies depending on what you hit the distance between yourself and the target.
Multiplier | Description |
---|---|
x0.8 | Hitting a player in one of their limbs. |
x1.5 | Hitting a player in the head. |
x0.(3) or x1/3 | Hitting a vehicle. |
x2 | Hitting a player or a vehicle up close. |
Damage Dropoff
Damage dropoff is a gameplay mechanic that calculates how much damage is decreased depending on the distance between the target and the shooter. All guns have this mechanic, however, it is hidden from public eyes. Shotguns are known to have accelerated damage dropoff.
Damage dropoff is different from the close-up multiplier of x2.
Civilian Guns
Civilians have the most varied palette of guns, they can all be purchased at Liberty Guns & Ammo.
