The River City Fire & Rescue, commonly abbreviated as RCFR, also known as the River City Fire Department (RCFD), is a team responsible for all fire and medical calls in Liberty County. The first fire department is located on Sandstone Road, south of the Gun Shop, while the second is located in downtown Springfield. This team was launched in December 2018 and continues to serve the county.

Items
RCFR players also have access to items and uniforms that are unique to their teams. Some of these items allow players on that team to fight fires, heal other players, protect themselves from fires, or protect themselves from dangerous materials. Some items spawn in the player's inventory by default, while others can be equipped by interacting with the locker and selecting equipment.
Helmet Gear
These are equipment items that can be equipped with the fire helmet. Some of these pieces of equipment can fully protect the player from damage when they are directly in a fire. Once a player has equipped a helmet, they can use that equipment by pressing the helmet icon next to the emote button in the upper right corner of the screen. The equipment required to equip helmet gear is described in the Helmet & SCBA section.
- Flashlight: This is a flashlight mounted on the helmet.
- Eye Shield: This is an eye shield to protect the characters eyes from sparks and other potential hazards.
- Mask: This is a full mask that covers most of the character's face, in order to protect them from fire.
- SCBA: This is an oxygen tank that contains oxygen for the character to breathe, this will stop the player from taking damage from the smoke emitted from fire when inside a burning house.
General Gear
These are general equipment items that can be used by both firefighters and rescue workers. They are in the player's inventory by default.
- Flashlight: Unlike the helmet flashlight, this is a handheld flashlight. The same flashlight can be used by players on the RCPD/LCSO/LCDOT teams.
- MDT (Mobile Data Terminal): This is a data terminal where DOT, police, sheriff, and fire and EMS players can view calls in detail. However, unlike the MDT of the RCPD/LCSO teams, the fire department MDTs cannot be used to search for records or wanted persons.
- Radio: The radio is newly added to all RCPD/LCSO/LCDOT/RCFD it makes all chat messages go to the radio.
Fire & Rescue Gear
This is equipment that firefighters can use to fight fires, reach high places, or just for general role-playing.
- Helmet & SCBA: This is not equipment in the traditional sense, but indicates and allows the user to wear helmet equipment that should not be confused with SCBA helmet equipment.
- Heavy Chainsaw: This is a chainsaw that can cut through fallen trees. Unlike its DOT counterpart, the chainsaw is colored red.
- Ladder: It is a portable ladder that can be extended to reach medium height places such as roofs and small buildings.
- Simple Fire Hose: This is a hose that can be used to extinguish fires. It sprays water when the player clicks the left mouse button. OLD FIRE HOSE SYSTEM
- Fire Extinguisher: This is firefighting equipment that can be used to extinguish small pockets of embers and flames.
- Oil Absorbent: This is a tool for removing oil spills. Unlike its DOT counterpart, the bucket is colored red.
- Hydraulic Strut: Struts are used to support unstable structures during rescue, such as a wrecked vehicle.
- Generator: The generator serves as a power source for lights and tools in a scene. For roleplay only.
- Pike Pole: This is a cosmetic tool that firefighters can use in a role-playing scenario.
- Cutters: This is a cosmetic tool that firefighters can use in a role-playing scenario.
- Spreader: This is a cosmetic tool that firefighters can use in a role-playing scenario.
EMS Gear
These are gears for EMS, however the Medic Bag, Monitor, and Backboard are available for all firefighters.
- Monitor: This is an item that can be placed near an injured person to take their vital signs. When placed near an injured patient, the player can begin to diagnose and treat the patient. Once the monitor is placed, connect the pads of the monitor to the patient by clicking on the yellow dots on the patient. Then begin treatment by examining the patient. Once the symptoms are known, perform the treatment and place the patient on a stretcher and transport him/her by ambulance.
- Medic Bag: This item can be used to heal players other than the one holding the pouch. Both players must be within range of the pouch, and the player holding the pouch must press E when the graphical user interface is displayed. The other player will then be healed within a few seconds. This item can also be placed on the floor.
- Backboard: This is an element that gives the user a prompt to put another player on the backboard. As soon as the user presses E, the player gets a field where he can accept or reject the request - this does not work if the player is on the ground. If the request is rejected, nothing happens, otherwise the player is placed on the backboard. The player can leave the game by jumping, or he can be placed in the passenger compartment of an ambulance by the player walking to the back and pressing E at the prompt.
- Stretcher: This stretcher has the same function as the backboard (see above), but looks different and can be placed with a player on it. In this case, the stretcher stays where it is and the player stays on it. This function is only available to players who have either the International Ambulance or the Bullhorn Ambulance.
Traffic Equipment
These are tools that firefighters/EMS can use to warn traffic of hazards. These gears are also included in the RCPD/LCSO teams. However, these Gears are only cosmetic and players can drive through them. They also disappear after a certain amount of time and can be picked up by the owner.
- Cones: This is a general reflective traffic cone that can be used to close off a road or warn motorists of potential hazards by being placed by the user.
- Flares: This is a placeable object that emits red smoke into the air when placed on the ground. It can be used to warn motorists.
Special Operations Equipment
These are tools used for special rescue operations. Special operations include HAZMAT, technical rescue, and water rescue. All special operations require the FD Special Operations Gamepass.
- Wash Station: Put this item down to create a portable shower. Anyone can use it to rinse off their suits at a HAZMAT crime scene.
- Deployable Tent: This tent can be used for large-scale operations or disasters. Use this tent for anything - like HAZMAT, triage or command posts.
- Life Ring: Throw this object into the water so that other players can grab onto it. Then pull them to the shore.
- Life Vest: The life vest should be used for safety during water rescue.
- HAZMAT Neutralizer: Use this bucket set to neutralize and clean up hazardous HAZMAT spills.
- Safety Rope: During technical rescues, you can click to attach one end of the rope to any surface, while the other end is attached to the player. The rope can also reel in and out. There is also an RCPD/LCSO variant that requires the SWAT Gamepass.
Vehicles
Players in this section can spawn team-exclusive emergency service vehicles. These include fire trucks, ambulances, and emergency vehicles.
