Jailed is a status given to a criminal once they have been arrested. They have limited access to space and cannot use any items. Prisoners will be released once the imprisonment time expires. The jail time will depend on the wanted level the player had when they were arrested. Players will also become a jailed when they rejoin after leaving in handcuffs, leaving while an officer is nearby, being pursued, or leaving while the helicopter spotlight is on them.
Access[]
Area Access[]
Criminals are automatically teleported to the Liberty County Jail once arrested. After their arrest, they are unable to leave their cell for a short period of time. After the time expires, they are free to explore the interior of the jail, as well an empty courtyard located in the back of the jail.
Items[]
Typically, the player will have no access to any items while in jail, but if they click on the phone item before it disappears, they'll be able to use it, even after they unequip it. Players can interact with furniture within the facility.
Confiscation[]
Upon arrest, all weapons and Items are automatically removed, meaning they must re-purchase their firearms after their release/bail.
Bailing Out[]
Prisoners are able to pay a bail fee in order to bypass their jail time. The fee will depend on the wanted level during their arrest. Players are able to use in-game cash to bail every 6 hours (real-life time) or will have to pay 18 R$ (Robux) to bail out otherwise.
Escaping Jail[]
- You can escape jail by a chair glitch if you are in the cell on the second floor.

Trivia[]
- While in jail (if you did not bail or get released from jail) your car can be towed and impounded if anyone is on the DOT team. That means you must head to the Department of Transportation Building to retrieve your vehicle in the scenario it does get towed.
- The maximum jail sentence is 5 minutes 20 seconds. This occurs when the player has obtained a 5-star wanted level or combat logs(leaving the game with the Air Support spotlight is on them, leaving the game with law enforcement in the vicinity or leaving while in handcuffs).
- The minimum jail sentence is 1 minute 30 seconds. This occurs when a player is arrested with a 1-star wanted level.
- If you escape jail, you won't be able to sit in cars, become wanted and engage in combat at all.
